What is conflict? Characteristics of a conflict situation. Origins of conflicts

  • Workshop on conflict situations that participants have to deal with in their daily work
  • Analysis of the causes of misunderstandings, emotional and communication barriers. Simulation during which participants perform a task requiring them to reach an agreement in a situation of divergent opinions, motivations, arguments and expectations

Types of conflicts. Ways of responding to conflict situations

  • Introduction of the Conflict Circle model (conflict of data, relations, values, interests and structures) – specific examples of business conflicts
  • How can one eliminate the “hats of conflict”? Possible measures to be taken depending on the type of conflict: tools for responding to data conflict, conflict of values, conflict of relations
  • Methods of overcoming a deadlock. Workshop work based on a map of interested persons

Conflict behaviours – assertive expression of thoughts, arguments, opinions, expectations

  • How people react to conflict – patterns of behaviour in conflict: assertiveness, submissiveness, manipulation, aggression. Opportunities and threats of all styles
  • How do I respond to conflict? Questionnaire and work on individual cases
  • Role-playing of scenes embedded in the professional environment of participants. Scenes are constructed in such a way that participants experience various difficult interpersonal professional situations. In the discussion of the scenes the focus is on:
    • the explicitness and legibility of the messages and information transmitted
    • ways of coping with difficult situations
    • attention to the relationship and ambience of the conversation
    • dealing with personal emotions
    • responding adequately to the emotions of the interlocutor
    • diagnosis of conflict and choice of an adequate conflict resolution strategy

Assertive attitude and conflict resolution

  • Assertive attitude: I am okay, and you are okay. My anti-assertive convictions How do I change them? 10 assertive rights of an individual. In-depth individual work
  • Work on an assertive attitude: when I cannot say “yes”, when I want to say “enough”, why I do not ask, why I do not decline?
  • A team game during which participants will be in a conflict situation at the scenario stage. However, the success of the project depends on the ability to reduce the conflict to the structures and interests, as well as to protect your borders and not exceed the boundaries of the interlocutor

  • How much is the training?

    The price of the training is PLN 2,900 net. The price must be increased by 23% VAT.

  • When is the next training scheduled?

  • Who is the training for?

    The training is dedicated to everyone who would like to improve their conflict management and assertive communication skills.

  • Why is this training better than other courses available on the market?

    The workshop focuses on building the right attitude and developing skills related to building dialogue. A number of practical exercises help in this experience.

  • What is the duration of the training?

    The training lasts 2 days (9 AM to 5 PM).

  • How to sign up for the training?

    In order to sign up, first choose the topic, then visit the subpage of the selected training, and finally fill out the application form that is available there. You can either fill out the electronic application form, or download it as a file, fill it out, and send a scanned document to: szkoleniaotwarte@houseofskills.pl.

  • Will I receive a certificate after I complete the training?

    Yes, after the training we will provide you with a certificate signed off by the trainer in charge.

  • Where is the training held?

    Open training courses are organized at our HQ at Równoległa Str. No 4a, or in fully-equipped training rooms in Warsaw. Detailed organizational info (including the location) is sent about 1.5 weeks before the start of the training.

  • What is included in the price?

    The price includes the costs of participation in the program, teaching materials, access to platforms, and other tools provided for in the program. In the case of classroom training, the price also includes lunch, drinks and snacks served during coffee breaks.

  • How can I pay for the training?

    We accept bank transfers, while credit card payments can be made at our HQ.

  • What is the minimum and maximum number of participants?

    We conduct classroom training courses in groups of 6–12 people, and online workshops for 8–15 people.

  • Will I receive training materials?

    Yes, during the training we will provide you with textbooks and workbooks. If included in the program of specific training, you will also gain access to e-courses or materials available via electronic platforms.

  • Do I have to pay anything if I sign up, but then cancel?

    If you cancel your participation 8 or more working days before the scheduled start date, we reserve the right to issue a debit note amounting to 50% of the training price. The resulting amount due will be deducted from the payment already made for the training. If the applicant has not made the payment in advance, they must pay the debit note amount within 14 days after its date of issue.

    If you cancel your participation 1 or 2 working days before the scheduled start date, we retain the right to the full fee as for a duly completed training course. In this case, any payments already made are non-refundable.
